R.I.P. - Darcie Marie
1991 - 2006
Darcie passed away this evening.
Thursday, March 16th, 2006 just before 9 p.m.
Complications from Advanced Lymphoma.
Darcie was infamous in her time, and went by many nicknames. Dar-Roo, Dar-Cougen, Dar-Dar, Fuzzy Girl, and Girly. Most of you may recognize her from the “Furry Fury” episodes. She loved basking in the sun where ever it could be found. Her favorite treat... Moist Whisker Lickin's tuna flavor. Her favorite toy... A balled up piece of paper whacked, and chased around on the kitchen floor. This was a sight to see, and often left observers laughing madly. She loved snuggling in the laps of her loved ones, and often came to bed to snuggle during the night. Darcie was an awesome bedtime snuggler. She loved laying in your armpit with her head on the pillow (or your arm), and tucked under the covers. She had a purr so loud it often kept you awake, and sounded similar to a pigeon coup. No Joke. When Darcie growled she sounded like a small cougar. Hence the nickname Dar-Cougen. Beautiful girly... She was a fighter to the end... Our little trooper. You are already missed, sweety. Love You, Forever.
