I put up some new pictures yesterday from Lambertville, NJ. Enjoy. I got to go inside and sit in the firetruck. ARrrrr Arrr arrr arrrr...

While out getting my hair cut today. We did a bit of shopping at the grocery store for odds and ends. Then dropped off the rented DVD that we watched at BlockBuster Video.
We stopped at Best Buy to pickup up the "Sin City" DVD, and "Asphalt Urban GT" for DS. Along with the purchase of "Sin City" DVD we were given a free copy of "Sin City - A Dame To Kill For" Comic Book. I've devoured it, and found it entertaining.
After Best Buy... We headed to PetCo for food for the kitties, then back home.
I received these in email from someone... *lol*
I called him today.. He's at home now. Healing and resting. He sounds with it. He's been through a lot of pain so far. He is going to start physical therapy soon for two weeks. Walking to the bathroom is tiring for him right now, but he manages. I'm happy he's home and healing.
There are some still photographs up on my photoblog for anyone who wishes to see them. Back to exporting video I go.

It's late, and I'm beat. It was a longer drive than expected. *sighs*
My Brother is expected to be released tomorrow sometime. *crosses fingers for him* He's still doing very well.
Well, I've been trying to relax a bit while here. It's not easy, but it's quiet. A nice thing. I have pictures and video to share when I get back, as I said before. Right now it's cool, because of the thunderstorms.
I'll be calling home to Ohio to get an update on my Brother when I get back on Monday, but more like Tuesday. We are going to get home late on Monday night. Traffic is going to suck, but oh well. Nothing I can do about that. Unless I had a time machine. No luck in that! :)
This video was taken with my Canon A85, with underwater case. It rocks in the pool. :D
More to come after I get home on Monday. This is just a teaser.
It's Saturday... It's 95 degrees F in the shade... It's over 100 degrees F in the sun. The pool was nice, and kept me cool. I took lots of pictures, and some movies under water. They came out pretty good. I'll be posting some probably on Monday when I get back. Now it's time for preparing for dinner time. Showers, and whatnot.
Well, we are here in Amawalk, NY. House sitting, and taking care of two dogs and Grandma for the weekend. It's HOT, and it's suppose to be hotter (95 degrees, not including himidity). The house is air cooled, but not air conditioned. It's still FRIGGING hot! Sorry, the humidity makes me a crank-a-puss. *chuckles* Tomorrow will be spent in the POOL with my cell phone under the umbrella, and beer. I've never wanted my short hair cut MORE.
This evening there was a bit of a thunderstorm. I recorded video of that, and will put it up on my photoblog in a day or two. It's neat to see.
For those lubbed ones.. You can reach me by my cell. ;)
The doctors feel that he is doing well enough that they think they want to send him home on Monday. Yeah. That's great news!
"Five tips for a woman....
1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job.
2. It is important that a man makes you laugh.
3. It is important to find a man you can count on and doesn't lie to you.
4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you.
5. It is important that these four men don't know each other."
He's still doing great, and is now in his own private room. Yah!
However, they still are not allowing phone calls.
Called to see what he was up to, and he's doing so well that they are going to move him into his private room this evening sometime. I am expecting a call later on tonight sometime with the phone number, so I can call to talk to him. He woke up this am FREAKING hungry, so his wife ran out to Wendy's and bought him some biscuits and gravy, and eggs. He inhaled it all! LOL Yah!
Yesterday was a bad day for the girly. She was restless, and seemed lethargic. She ate less, but still ate something in the morning and in the late evening. Not sure what that was about. But I'm hoping it was just that she is at the end of her liquid Methimazole. You know how liquids tend to become sedentary the closer they are to being done.
Anyway, I'm sitting here waiting on them to deliver her next bottle. It better come today, or tomorrow will be without medicine. Not the fault of us that her Methimazole is late. Stupid Veterinarian, and the stupid Pharmacy in NJ. Two heads that don't seem to know what the other is doing.
She seems to be doing better today. At least she purred while eating some of her breakfast this am. She wouldn't purr, or make eye contact yesterday at all.
Update: Woohoo! Medicine is now here. No more worries for girly.
His wife called. He is doing well. Sitting up, but exhausted. The nurses ask him questions, and he's answering them. Joking around and whatnot. He has a sense of humor, and is teasing the nurses kidding around. *chuckles* He's doing GREAT! He moves out of his ICU room on Thursday sometime.
Well, his condition is now moved up from critical to severe. He's doing much better, and he's awake talking away in his bed. They took out one of his draining tubes today, so he's more comfortable now. They also had the physical therapy team in there going through his first exercise. Sitting up without help. Yah! His wife is going to call back later today when he wakes up, so I can talk to him a bit. I can't wait.
He's still in ICU, but he's stable. They took him down a bit ago for a CT scan. They are switching his medication for his brain swelling to see if they can get that down. He's responsive to commands, and knows who everyone is, and knows where he is at. The doctors are giving him a good prognosis, and say that his sleeping and such are normal for his head inguries. BUT... He'll be fine, and make it through. It's just going to be a tuff, and long healing process for him. The doctors say he's improving. I'll let you know if they find anything on the CT scan.
Update: The CT scan came back ok. The doctors still say he's doing well.
My Brother was in an accident three weeks ago today. So, this happened the following weekend after we were there to pickup my cat (Darcie). Brother driving on his motorcycle on one of the main streets there was hit, or he hit a woman that was pulling into her drive way to go home. I don't know who's fault it was, but it's of no consequence really. I'll find out all the details of the actual accident later. My concern is with my Brother right now. He flew 35 feet off of his bike landing on his face. He has pretty much crushed every bone in his face. He tore ligaments in one of his elbows and thumbs. They went in first after getting him stable, and fixed his thumb and elbow with pins. After that he laid in ICU for a few days. They brought him into his own room. Brother complained of really bad headaches, and he seized once. They took him back into surgery to open up his skull to fix the issue. Apparently his skull fractures were not healing the way they were suppose to. After the surgery he went back into ICU. He seized again, and they took him back in. He's back out of surgery now, and still in ICU. No reported further seizures. He is now stable and awake. He should be moved to his own room in two days.
Updates to come...
Update 1: 8/8/2005, He's still in critical care. I found out further information concerning his accident. Apparently this young woman was in a hurry to get home to her sick relative, and didn't even see my Brother coming. My brother had no stopping room, and smacked right into the passenger side of her car. He didn't even have a chance to do anything, but say, "fuck!" IMHO. And he was only a half mile up the main street where the house sits off of. My Brother's wife has already contacted a lawyer there. I call back around 1 p.m. or so to get further information from his wife concerning him.
Update 2: 8/8/2005, Dad called back to say that my Brother woke up this morning and drank a little Ensure, then went back to sleep. They haven't been able to wake him, so they are going to either reduce his pain meds. Or they might put him on something different. I call back at 3 p.m.
So... The wife-y drives me over to pickup some Starbucks coffee. Two triple venti caramel machiatos, one with skim, one with whole. The cute little 'boytoy' (I'm not including her name for privacy reasons) asks me, "So, where's your other half?" I say, "She's in the car waiting." She then asks, "Why is she in the car waiting?" I say, "Cause she has her running clothes on (hasn't showered)." She cocks her head and raises one eyebrow at me, then says, "Girls are so funny like that aren't they?" I say with a smile, "Yes, they are." And the cute little blonde making the coffee giggles and smiles.
I spent close to an hour today trying to kill a hornet that somehow mysteriously ended up in the basement. This happens at least once or twice during the summer. I have to say, It's now dead. Instruments of death were; 1 broom, 1 magazine, 1 quick spray of the Raid Hornet spray. Now usually the first two instruments of death work, but for some reason today this one would not sit still. The cats are watching it waiting for it to fly to their level of leaping. Pffft! No luck for them today. I said, "Screw this. I've got stuff to do, and I'm tired of wasting time here." I grab the spray, and aim. Wah`la! It drops from the air like a 747 with no wings. Yah! Score! I pick it up and flush it.
I purchased this yesterday at Best Buy. Here is a review from G4TV. They gave it four out of five stars. I have to say, it's fun. I was enjoying myself killing those HU`MANS. Ahahaha! Fear me in my alien saucer!
I've included some further video of me playing a bit. I recorded them with my Canon A85. Please, do NOT link directly to these videos, or any videos on my blog. And DO NOT link these directly up on some forum either. Instead link to the main page --> http://cerebraldump.com/ - Thanks.
I chose to export this as a .mov file to be globally viewable, and so it would not load each time that my blog loads when someone visits it. This is a creation of mine. I just wanted to show you that I'm starting to animate my flash monkey drawing that I previously posted about. Watch the nose. *lol*
Update: I finally got the flash version working. I had this little bug I needed to work out with the stop action script. Here it is.
Received a call from the Veterinarian concerning Darcie's blood results. She says that she is on the correct level of liquid Methimazole, and her thyroid and kidneys read normal. She needs to be rescheduled for another thyroid test in a month and a half. We are happy for the girly.
.5ml Methimazole (liquid twice daily)
Animax Ointment (3 drops in each ear twice daily)
Where is she right now? Happily napping on my lap.
On my photoblog you will find a recent entry of a House Centipede, which are common in basements. This little bugger was about two inches in length (HUGE to me). *shivers again*
Mighty Mouse New Multi-Button Mouse Features Innovative Scroll Ball. Ooooo... Ahhhhhh!
It's been two weeks...
We took her in for her thyroid blood test. We also asked if they could take a look at her ears again. We tell the tech that for the past few days she's been really nauseated in the morning. She will only eat dry food for now. Her wet food is a little too aromatic for her at this time. Just happy that she'll eat her dry food. Besides, it's enough to sustain her.
We wait, we wait.
The tech brings her back out rather quickly, I thought. We ask. "How did it go?" The tech says, "Just fine. No troubles. Of course she growled, but she was fine." They took her blood, and checked her ears. I notice that the tech has a tube of what looks like more ear medication. I sigh. This time it's for two weeks, and this stuff is to break up what the other medication didn't do. It's called Animax Ointment. They really want to break up the wax build up in her little ears. We wait 24 hours now for her thyroid blood tests to come back, and we talk to the Veterinarian then.
A short video from Saturday evening before dinner... My Little Cougar! Awww...
I ummm... Updated my CSS again. Stayed with the same template, but changed the color a bit.
Arrow_PenPlay He's so cute.
For the past few mornings she's been nauseated. Throwing up foamy liquid. She hasn't really been digging her Salmon moist chunks as she normally did at first. She wouldn't touch it today. So, I just gave her a bowl of her dry Eukanuba. She ate a good portion of it. She either is no longer fond of the Salmon, or she just wanted dry food today. She's been a little more cranky over the past few days also. She's probably just not feeling good as a reaction to her Methimazole. Something I'll have to talk to the Veterinarian about tomorrow when she goes in for her blood work up.
