Well, we went out to do some errands. Pick up food for this evenings dinner, get some champagne, and run by Sears. With our gift cards... I wound up getting a bag to hold all of my camera accessories. And picked up a second copy of Mario 64 DS, so we could both play it at the same time. And wifey purchased a DS racing game.
*just chuckles*
Ugh, What a day. I woke up with this headache that won't go away, but it's not as bad if I keep taking some sort of pain killer. I also seem to be overly sensitive to light. I did tons of work today already, and I think I'm done for the day. Unless some emergency thing pops up. Maybe I'll do a little shopping at Sears online. I have a gift card I want to use. I need an SLR bag for my camera accessories. See what else I can get there. What to do after that...
Update: I'm just going to have to go to the mall here into Sears. Their online site is shite. That will have to be another day when I'm depressed and need something to lift me up. *chuckles*
I journeyed out today (over a half hour) to Circuit City (who had the DSs in stock) to pick up my DS system. Wee! I am now waiting for it to fully charge before I start playing. It came with a demo for Metroid Prime, and I purchased Spiderman 2. I'm fidgeting waiting on it to charge.

That took forever. I had well over 50 separate html files to edit by hand in vi within a terminal window due to the worm that hit. MT doesn't have the ability to rebuild the popup html files. Let me know if anyone finds any broken stuff. Enjoy.

First off... Merry Christmas to everyone.
This Christmas day we woke up and opened presents around 8 AM with buckets O'coffee. After that the wifey and I had breakfast, then showered for the arriving company for Christmas dinner. We had Christmas goose, turkey, stuffing, green beans, cole slaw, salad, spinach, brown gravy, with red wine. We (the wifey and I) sat at the kid's round table with their Mother, and Aunt J. It was the BEST table to eat at *nods*.

Well, It's Christmas Eve. Dinner is going to be around 7 PM or so. I'm hanging out with the guys at the moment, and drinking a beer. Talking of politics and B.S. Always fun. *hehe* And taking lots of pictures and video. It's what I like to do. *shrugs* Back to socializing.
Look. This is just unacceptable. If your cat (pet) dies, then it dies. Mourn and move on. There are other kittens that need homes. Seriously. I would NEVER clone a pet. EVER. Now I understand if you are trying to save a species, but for a loved domestic house pet?! It's just wrong on SO many levels. Death is a natural, and necessary part of life. The question of, "What if you have a child and just can't bring yourself to tell them and deal with it?!" OMG! Grown some nads, Ok. Children have to learn about death sometime. What other healthy way do children have to learn about death, and learn that it is natural and necessary? Who better to learn it from than a loved one. And that Death can NOT be undone, or avoided. Everything dies, and eventually 'you' will too.
We are here in Amawalk, NY at the parents. However, our trip was eventful. Not only did we have traffic, but periodic torrential rain. After making a wrong turn we wound up at a toll booth, and wind up getting hit in the ass by some jerk off woman in a HUGE SUV. Hahhh! Merry Christmas to US! We get turned back around, and get headed back in the right direction. We arrive ALIVE, but tired.
We will be on our way shortly for the trip to NY. 1 PM is the scheduled time of departure. I really don't think we are going to be able to get the three of us in the car with a SHIT load of packages. To me upon visual inspection it's going to be tight, or it's going to be two cars.
We went to the movie theatre to see this today. I enjoyed it. Nothing good ever happens to the children. *shakes head*
The wifey went out to Best Buy today. Reminder to self... Never let her go alone. She shops till she drops. *hehe* She came back with four DVDs. One for me, which I've been wanting for quite some time now. It's called "Blood: The Last Vampire". I truly enjoyed this. It was damn good. If you liked "Ghost In The Shell", "Akira", and "Spriggan", then you'll like this. Something you want for your Anime collection.

Had a HUGE day today. Wound up going to seed a friend of ours just north of us in Pennsylvania. I brought my GBA SP with me to play "Metroid Zero Mission" while they chatted. I beat a level while there. We then went to run further errands (Christmas related), which took quite a few hours to do.
I got a copy of "Rome - Total War" from a friend of ours. It's suppose to be a really good strategy game for the PC. We will see. I've pounded through all the WarCraft games within 3 to 4 hours of sitting with them. Usually when I play games of that this type I want at least a few hours with them. It's what's needed to really get into them.
I finished my work for the day just a bit ago, and I'm sipping a beer while my game installs. And doing laundry off and on.
Summarized...
We had a little pre-dinner snack, which were stuffed mushrooms and crackers (with salami, hot mustard, cheese, and onion). That was quite yummy with red whine. *nods* We then had dinner (main course) shortly after that. Flank steak with asparagus and baked potato. After dinner we moved back to the living room where we enjoyed the fireplace and Christmas Tree, along with a couple of games of Jenga. Oh, and we had cherry pie & blueberry pie for dessert.
It's dreary outside today.
I installed MT-Approval for dealing with comment spam (bot related) for Movable Type on my personal web server. It seems to be working. I have given the plugin package to Lost Lands Net for deployment. So, it should be active sometime soon for The Cerebral Dump.
I had such a shitty nights sleep. I tossed and turned, then finally fell asleep around 2 AM. I woke up at 4:30 AM, and just could not go back to sleep. Went out to the fridge to get some water. Thirsty. After that I went back to bed and tossed and turned. I wound up sleeping for another few hours. I'm feeling really beat though.
Well, I've successfully installed up to SP2. I have to admit it was a bit of a 'bear' to do. The time involved would have made anyone talk under interrogation settings. The process was painstaking. Now I am installing software that will not run without registry entries. My VideoMate CompPro TV Gold plus tuner card is working like a dream again. Yes, I'm happy about it.

I've been given time off for the Holidays from the 23rd of December through the 26th of December. Weee! *starts to weep from joy* Oh, thank you Mistress/Boss Lady/Wifey.

I'm still reinstalling windows & patches, and installing other applications. Like my graphics apps and games. What I use my PC for anyway. Heading out in a bit to do more errands.
I rendered this(1280 x 960) while reformatting, and reinstalling windows XP. Seems after the SP2 security fixes I installed today, it refuses to boot. Hmmm... Another fine Microshaft update.
Brrrr... It's cold. *smiles*
After a frustrating night and morning of senseless dreaming I woke up, showered, then went out to get a few errands done. I've wrapped Christmas presents like a good little slave with Christmas music playing in the background. Now to find a box big enough to ship my family in. Hmmm.. After that it's out to get the tree.
On a side note, I feel exhausted and tired. As if the life has been sucked out of me. I've been saying to myself off and on all throughout the day, "Why did I even bother getting out of bed?!"

Wifey, is 5'9" (without shoes on). At 127 pounds.
She started this wrestle session by picking me up and throwing us both on the bed. There the war began. I have to say, doing pushups for a woman is good. I have upper body strength. I was able to get her pinned where she couldn't do much of anything. So, to egg on the loser I kissey-kissied her face while keeping her pinned. She laughs uncontrollably saying, "Oh, you're going down.". *pffft* I reply, "Haaa! I laugh at your threats. Bring it blondie!" She actually thinks for a second and then grabs my rib cage with her thighs. *clears throat* For those of you that have never been squashed between a woman's thighs, it's difficult to breathe, if she knows what she's doing. Owe! *gasp* I release the pin I have on her a bit to move my arms down to help block the thighs of death. She screams, "Prepare for the squashening!". It works *gasp*, but I get leverage to counter. With one arm blocking one thigh I use the other to muscle both her arms back into being pinned. Weak thing wifey is, but her running has made her thighs deadly. I further get myself out between the thighs of death by twisting and turning the top portion of her body over. I have her pinned again. She can't move. She somehow counters and we are wrestling for position again. I get her pinned slightly, she has me pinned slightly with her thighs. "Damnit!" The only way to get away from how I'm positioned is to roll us both off the bed. I do it. We seperate both breathing heavely. She says she surrenders! I think to myself, "Huh?!", wait! I win!

I'm listening to "Dream Theatre" - "Scenes From A Memory" (per a good friend) while summarizing the evenings events... Some what... The wife and I bought these Mega Blocks Dragons for one another while we were shopping for the kids earlier in the evening. We purchased fire and ice. She choosing the red/fire dragon while I chose ice/blue dragon. I have to say for Mega Blocks they are damn cool. I'm always surprised at the mobility of the newer toys. Things they didn't, or couldn't possible have when I was a child. I'm loving my dragon at the moment. And I should have a decent picture of both, or mine, within 24 hours or so. I need to de-wine and download my pictures. *chuckles*
I woke up from a flash from a camera this morning. Seems I hogged all the covers this morning, and the lovely wife was collecting evidence. *pfft* I seem to be overly sensitive to light today for some reason. After looking outside it's another rainy day. How drab. I guess today is a good a day as any to do further Christmas shopping. I need coffee. My eyes are killing me. I'm throwing on my jeans, brown loafers, and a roll neck sweater to head to the mall. Oh, I hate shopping at Christmas time. I'm surprised I didn't already have it done.
Update: Ummm... We are back. Spent LOTS of money. I love shopping for kids. It's much more fun than shopping for adults. The toy store is one of my favorite places to shop. *huge smile*
Update 2: BTW, I'm looking damn 'preppy' and cute today. *wiggles my eyebrows with a smile* I need to go take my JCrew roll neck off before I get wine all over it.

The "Best of Nick Cave" is actually a pretty good album. The song "Red Right Hand", I swear I've heard it in a movie soundtrack before. It's so familiar.
"Everything But The Girl" is a long time favorite of mine. Every since the whole partying scene I got into in South Beach, FL. If you've ever been into a dance club in South Florida you've heard the song "Missing". It was especially popular in the gay and lesbian clubs. I had an old friend of mine call me out of the blue (a year or two back) and say to me, that every time he heard the song he thought of me. It was touching. The album I'm listening to now is "Walking Wounded". Listed as Alternative in iTunes. So far I like the album. It's quite soothing to me to listen to. Tracey Thorn's voice is just scrumptious to my ears. Oh, how I dream of her singing to me.
A dream I had this morning... It had the overall feeling that something really bad was going to happen, and of photography. In the dream I remember running outside with my camera to look at the sky. It was beautiful. Standing near a balcony, In one part of the sky there were nebula like clouds that had these beautiful colors. Above me was this huge swirling cloud formation that kept building. I kept snapping pictures and it felt as if my camera had unlimited space on it?s card. This feeling of dread kept building throughout the dream ?till I awoke at some point.

Sipping a beer... Hmmm... It's particularly slow today, but getting better. Someone attacked me today. Guess I shouldn't of smashed my hippy stone. I'm doing well with "auntipasta". She's a Pastamancer. *nods* I made a plain pizza and spaghetti for myself today for food. I'm debating whether to sell them, or eat them. Auntipasta is a Level 6 Spaghetti Sage, and her familiar is Gorgy Porgy, the 25 pound Mosquito. Over 3,000 meat for her.
The other character I have is called "ramenavour" and she is a Sauceror. A level 4 Sage Sage. *chuckles* With a 1 pound familiar named Torg, the mosquito. This is a pretty new character.
Also strangely enough my lovely was listening to "Puff The Magic Dragon" song this AM and crying to it. I guess that isn't too strange considering it is a sad song. I've been in comfort mode since this occurrence. *chuckles*
We then went out on this dreary day to run errands and get coffee. I also purchased a single little bottle of 1% chocolate milk, which I chugged upon opening at home. Mmmm... We also picked up some pretzels and are eating them with mustard along with our coffee.
The wife came down to give me a bit of a hard time about me missing the garbage can with my tissue balls. Erm... No comment. I then told her to stop picking on me. She then said, "You stay down here in the little troll cave", meaning the cold basement. She laughed. Hmmm... Sometimes I feel as if I'm stuck in a funny cartoon.

I don't feel like doing anything. Least of all work, but it's almost done.
I got loads of comment spam again today. Sheesh. Give up would you?! No one smart enough is going to click on that crap anyway. So, why do it? Wait! I know! It's for sheer annoyance right? It's cold and wet here today. *Brrrr* The basement is as cold as a witch's tit. Not that I've bedded a lot of witches, well one, but you get the point. I took over 100 photographs on my walk today. I said, "Good Day" to people walking by me. After all I am a friendly person even though I may not look like it. Some of the photos came out pretty good. And I took a few short videos. I've thrown up a few from today on my Photoblog. Back to listening to Duran Duran (favorite song from The Wedding Album: Come Undone) and aimlessly wandering.
After having a sneezing fit today I went and downloaded the new version of Thunderbird for my PC mail client. The new 1.0 release candidate. I'm not sure I want to beta test though. I absolutely hate Outlook. *shivers* Anyway. While doing that I am getting a bit of work done. I might go for a walk today with my camera. A little exercise and fresh air is good for you. I mean, besides me doing pushups. I do these almost daily. I hate feeling weak in my upper body. Helps with posture too. When I get tired I start the slouching.

I love this game already. I purchased the original game of Vampire Masquerade and it was good, but this one is better.

I did some online Christmas shopping for a bit. *wiggles eyebrows*
I tell you... Amazon/Amazon.ca you REALLY need to get your shit together. Purchasing for friends outside of the country is a pain in the ass. Wish lists should be easy to purchase from. They are not. For example: Me being from the USA trying to purchase from an Amazon.ca wish list, and putting in a billing address is IMPOSSIBLE. There are no listings for places outside of Canada on the Country listing on a Canadian wish list. WTF is the deal?! I sent an email to them concerning the whole debacle. We will see if they respond to the horrid experience.
I updated the banner graphic with a crop of one of my photographs. I also added a "NowPlaying" graphic at the bottom left hand side of the page for iTunes music played. It will update the graphic and song when played. It's not an auto refresh thing, so you will need to reload the page. But I'm sure no one is concerned with that.
Christmas shopping... Yah... Have to get busy on this ASAP.
I had a shitty night last night... I get no sympathy. At least the wife hugged me without having to ask for it. *nods* Cudos for you babe! *smiles* And my man "Dewer's" did fine by me also.
